HAD ENOUGH OF THE DLA TORTURE?
Disabled, in a wheelchair, fed up?
Been waiting ages for bureaucratic hob knobs in the DLA to get your disability
right?
Had enough of a so called disability care system that demeanours, belittles
and degrades you?
Sick of being treated like a spastic sponging leper by the disability
benefit office?
Demoralised by the DLA's rejection of factual truth, so accusing you of being
a low life cheat and bare faced liar? 
Or one of the hundreds subjected to even worse torture just because
you are disabled and asked for DLA?
Internal miss appropriation of
funds on a massive scale. Blatant discrimination against the disabled and non-whites.
Internal fraud involving possibly £ millions weekly. Racist DLA investigators
posing as G.P's. Gross discrimination against the medical profession. Corruption,
discrimination and internal fraud linking directly to the heart of government
and number 10 itself. Proof? There is plenty, the emerging scandal of the dubious
'Sema Ltd' who contract the home visits of doctors is just the tip of a huge iceberg
involving grand scale fraudulent diversion of social security benefits and government
initiated discrimination against the chronically sick and disabled.There MUST
be a full scale independent investigation into the disability benefits divisions,
especially the Godfather - The DLA HQ at Blackpool. Where security against the
outside world is more like a top secret covert military base.The only way of stopping
this fraudulently discriminative robbing of the disabled, both in money and human
rights, is to make it public and parliamentary knowledge. As this corruption extends
into the heart of central government, the only way to achieve this is by front
page media exposure. The fastest and surest way of achieving this is by politically
planned demonstrations.During the next three months, with the help nation-wide
of disabled people, organisations, charities, doctors, MP's and the media; It
is intended to organise a peaceful demonstration that will bring the disability
benefits office to their knees and open the door for complete exposure of their
hidden corruption, fraud and discrimination.
.THE OBJECTIVE?
1. To bring
a full scale open investigation into the disability benefits system. Exposing
the internal fraud, discrimination and denial of human rights.
2. A new system
of dealing with disability benefits involving equal decision making representation
by disability organisations and disabled people themselves.
3. An appeals
system that is truly independent. Unlike the present Tribunal system controlled
by the DLA. Chaired by those with disabilities and qualified independent medical
experts.Not much to ask for in a supposedly democratic UK in the year 2004 is
it?

Addendum. Thur 20 Apr
2000. 13:00hrs Bst. Assurances have now been given that a New investigation will
be held by an independent tribunal in London on Wednesday the 10th of May 2000.
Heavy attendance to this is now expected.

19:45hrs Bst.
Latest. Mr Vanci has now been ejected from the building
by a bailiff without receiving satisfaction. He will remain in the locality overnight.
Further action is to be expected by him tomorrow.

As from last evening (see below) the situation is
somewhat deteriorating today Wednesday 19th April, the Third day into what up
to now has been a peaceful protest for Disability rights and proper treatment.
Mr Vanci, a lone demonstrator inside the DLA building (they wont let any body
else in) has been there since yesterday morning and has stayed there overnight.
It now looks like another night is inevitable. He has been denied food, (he has
not eaten since yesterday morning) medical attention, access to the Social services,
phone calls, heating, even the doors to the building were left open for 2 hours
in an attempt to make it as uncomfortable as possible for this Disabled man in
a wheelchair whom is demanding fair and proper treatment and rights for Disabled
people by the government and local authorities. His carer whom went with him reports
that they were even locked in for a period, she has now left the buildings in
order to inform the outside world of the situation and has been refused re entry,
thus depriving Mr Vanci not just of the only care provider he had but now all
contact to the outside world. Apparently NO member of the public is allowed to
make outgoing phonecalls for any reason. All this in a public Government building
in the United Kingdom in the year 2000. Six security guards are also preventing
access by supporters and helpers and are also covering up as regards to the media
and anybody else enquiring about the situation.
More as it goes on.

As of Monday morning a gentleman from London with
wheelchair has been fighting and protesting for his rights as a disabled person
at the head office for DLA at Warbreck House, Warbreck Hill Rd, Blackpool Lancs.
This office is the main decision making department for the whole of the country.
Several media sources have been informed and have been turned away from the main
gate and on the phone presumably to cover up the situation. Late last evening
he was removed from the offices and put up in a local hotel by the social people.
He has returned there today to continue the protest and by the end of the day
if satisfaction is not forthcoming has been threatened by forcible removal. This
he will try to resist at all costs. If necessary blocking the main entrance.
If it is possible for you to mobilise ANY support and assistance to this area
please do so immediately.
His name is Eduardo C-Vanci and will be in the main
disability office or its immediate vicinity which is in front of the main entrance.
This is a stand being made by a Disabled person, not only for his own rights but
also for ALL Disabled people across the country.
As of direct information
received at 6:25pm Mr Vanci is STILL on the premises and is refusing to leave
obviously still making protest as the situation is not yet resolved to any degree
of satisfaction.
THIS IS IT!! THE FINAL SHOWDOWN!! IT'S ENOUGH!!
THE LAW MUST CHANGE!! My name is Eduardo C-Vanci. Until 1990 I
contributed 100's of 1000's of £££'s to the Government. In 1994
my neck (and most other places) were broken in an RTA. I am now in a specially
modified electric wheelchair, pills to send an addict high, need day and night
care, have a disabled wife and seven year old to contend with and all the other
problems associated with disability. In June 1997 DLA was applied for and is still
waiting to be resolved. I receive minimum care and NO mobility component whatsoever!
They wont believe me, or a host of doctors, specialists, consultants and operating
surgeons. Their basic GP and a twenty minute home visit is correct and the rest
of the worlds experts are lying! I have suffered and been humiliated for nearly
3 years. Enough is enough.
It is now time to change the trauma inflicted on
those least capable of dealing with it by the DLA.
